Sujan Shresta '08, and the Maryland Historical Society
His collaborative VR game preserves history and culture.
Sujan Shrestha, an alumnus of our IMDA program, is currently Assistant professor/Science, Information Arts and Technologies and Program director/ Simulation and Game Design at the University of Baltimore (UB).
Sujan and his UB GameLab team have an exciting new project with the Maryland Historical Society to use game technology as a tool to preserve history and culture. Specifically, they have created a Virtual Reality exhibition of two of Baltimore's historical ships: USS Constellation and CA-68.
The VR can be experienced at the Maryland Historical Society on Thursday November 1st (12 noon to 2PM ) and on December 6th.
